"No one writes like Regan Walker. She effortlessly weaves historical facts into her fictional stories. You can absolutely feel her passion for her craft as she tells her tales, whether on the high seas of the English Channel, or on the cobble stone streets of London or Paris. Her stories ring true, whether it’s the sound of the ocean, the smells in the air or the character’s feelings. Her world building is phenomenal. There is political intrigue and a bit of mystery and a beautifully developed romance!" —The Reading Cafe

The Beginning
My career did not begin with writing historical novels. Although I wrote stories as a child, by the time I got to college, at the urging of my professors, I decided to become a lawyer. After years of serving clients in private practice and several stints in high levels of government, it seemed time for a change. Becoming an award-winning author was the subject of dreams when I first began writing, but dreams sometimes do come true.

Regan, the Author
I write novels infused with real history and real historic figures for which I do hundreds of hours of research to "get it right". Each includes a love story. In The Clan Donald Saga, they are historically authentic matches.
Through my prior work, I have come to love international travel and meeting new people. I also have a feel for the demands of the "Crown" on its subjects. Hence, when I turned to writing historical novels, it seemed only natural that stories would feature a demanding sovereign who thinks of his subjects as his private talent pool—and so was born my first series, the Agents of the Crown. And then came the Donet trilogy of Georgian romances and the Medieval Warriors with demanding Norman kings. And my newest venture is the Clan Donald Saga, which begins with the story of Somerled in Summer Warrior.
My home is in San Diego and my joy is walking along shore where my dog Cody loves to run.
